Black Oak Books is open for business at 2618 San Pablo Ave. This is between Parker and Carleton, two blocks south of Dwight. Our normal business hours are:

11:00am - 7:00pm, 7 days a week!

(but we close early on Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, Labor Day, July 4th etc. We are also closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day.)

The former Rountree's R & B Club is now the permanent home of Black Oak Books HC. It's located between Parker and Carleton Streets on San Pablo Avenue, two blocks south of Dwight. This vintage building has been transformed into our new store which is 30% larger than our old store on Shattuck Ave.!

We buy books for $$ on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-6. Please Note: we are really only interested in recent books in good condition or scholarly books. We also can come to you if you have a large amount of scholarly or other noteworthy books to evaluate
